The Great Artists' Collaboration

I saw this cartoon in this weekend's Guardian which made me smile but also is fairly typical of many collaborations. However it doesn't have to be like that. In a previous article we showed a similar three stage process with a slightly different definition of success. See for yourself:

I can certainly identify with the cartoon but like to think that collaboration can be less combative and more productive if managed well.
